New pivot bushing design New pivot bushing design
Overview

The HSD Series features a new cast pivot design, as well as an increased frame tube size. This results in the field finish and residue management you’re used to, now backed by a three-year frame warranty.

Benefits
  • Three-year warranty on frame components
  • Larger, individually serviceable cast pivot joints at hitch, wing, and rear attachment frames increase uptime
    • Bushing can be serviced by removing 12 bolts and replacing pivot bushing
  • Larger frame tubes increase life of frame and weight per blade

  5. Pivot pin

The new HSD Series cast hinge provides increased surface area for improved load distribution and increased resistance to contamination from integrated seals around the pivot pin. This new large cast hinge design utilizes the latest in sealing technology and composite bushing materials for improved life expectancy and reduced maintenance.

Technology should be simple to maximize full potential, autonomy shouldn’t be different. With autonomous farming solutions on the horizon, many customers are wondering what they should do to ensure the tillage equipment they are purchasing today will be READY to operate autonomously.

Autonomy Ready includes known and available integrated components, allowing customers to save time and money when adding the fully autonomous tillage solution hardware. The components included from the factory are:

  • Implement lights
  • Receiver mast
  • Implement receiver harness

The HSD Series gives operators the ability to cover acres quickly, increasing their productivity. This two-season tool can operate up to 22.5 km/h (14 mph) in field.

This tool is available in seven configurations from 7.70 m to 13.79 m (25 ft to 45 ft). The HSD Series requires 34.25 kW/m (15 hp/ft), but in certain hilly, soft, or wet conditions it may require an additional 25 percent engine horsepower to maintain operating speeds at preferred working depth.

Individually mounted blades Individually mounted blades
Rubber torsion elements Rubber torsion elements

HSD Series features individually mounted blades. These blades, supported by rubber torsion elements, can travel up to 22.9 cm (9 in.) while passing over an obstruction, like a rock. This allows the rest of the tool to remain engaged and continue working, allowing for better ground contour.

Keep the tool engaged while passing over obstructions Keep the tool engaged while passing over obstructions

To also follow ground contour, wings flex to stay engaged on hilly or terraced ground.

Wings follow the ground contour Wings follow the ground contour

Blades are also easy to replace. Rather than having to remove an entire gang, just replace an individual blade.
